Bols Liqueurs Launches YouTube Competition

By Rebecca Harris

Bols Liqueurs has launched a video-themed cocktail competition called ‘Capture the Spirit of Bols Around the World’.

The new competition challenges bartenders to create a video that showcases their mixology skills using Bols Liqueurs and upload the entry on YouTube, a popular video sharing website.

“Online media is becoming so popular and we saw it as a great way to involve bartenders in a fun and different way”, said Bols Liqueurs and Galliano brand ambassador, Michael Dackiw.

The competition will run over three stages, with entries for the first stage, ‘Shake Your Flavour’, now open.

The maker of the best entry of all three video challenges will win an all-expenses-paid ‘Bartender Exchange’ to the city of their choice.

“It’s pretty exciting,” Dackiw said. “The winner will get to work behind one of the top bars in, say, London or New York.”

Entries for the first challenge close August 15.
