In the village of Amatitán, the birthplace of Tequila, the Partida Estate produces four distinctive Tequilas: Blanco (not aged), Reposado (aged six months), Añejo (aged 18 months) and the recently released Extra Añejo Elegante (aged 40 months). Partida’s entire line was awarded Gold and a rating of Exceptional by the world renowned Beverage Tasting Institute at their international Review of Spirits competition. Partida earned Classic, the highest recommendation of 96-100 points across the board in Wine Enthusiast’s 2008 Tequila Report.
In the Spirit Journal, all three Partida Tequilas were awarded five out of five stars by F. Paul Pacult, one of the world’s most accomplished and respected authorities in the wine & spirits world today. This marked the first time Pacult has ever given his coveted five stars for an entire tequila line.

The Partida Process: A Tequila Legacy
From cultivation and harvest to cooking, distillation and aging, Partida Tequila maintains exceptional standards of quality and consistency. Generations of Tequila-making expertise has been combined with the finest modern techniques to produce Partida Tequila.
While most Tequila distillers draw from a jumble of different agave growers, the Partidas draw from a single source – their family plantation. Complete control over their blue agave supply gives Partida Tequila an unusual degree of control over the ultimate quality of their Tequila.
The Partida estate lies just outside the village of Amatitán in the shadow of a dormant volcano where, for several generations, the Partidas have tilled the rich, red soil. The Tequilas produced here are imbued with a nuanced flavor profile that, like fine wine, speaks of its origins in the land.
The Partida estate allows their agave plants seven to ten years from shoots to harvest to fully mature, ensuring full, ripe, rich flavor. The heart of the agave plant – la piña – is the soul of Tequila. After harvest, the piñas are baked slowly and gently for 18 hours, unlike other producers who steam-blast them in a quarter of the time. Partida Tequila is then distilled twice: once to purify the fermented liquid and again to bring it to perfection.
