Good Food and Wine Show Opens In Sydney

The Good Food and Wine Show kicks off in Sydney today (Jul 3) with international celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay to headline the three-day event.

The LG Celebrity Theatre will feature four Gordon Ramsay shows today with two to be held tonight during the ‘After Dark’ session, which runs until 9:30pm.

Organised by Diversified Exhibitions Australia the company’s marketing manager, Bridget Lorimer, said they are expecting a great turn out with strong pre-booked tickets.

“There are more than 360 exhibitors covering food, wine, appliances and gourmet goods - there’s absolutely everything on show,” Lorimer said.

“We’re expecting about 45,000 to 50,000 through the doors over the three-days.”  

The show also features cheese master classes, interactive cooking classes and a Riedel Decanter Bar.

After a great response last year, the Lindeman’s Early Harvest Restaurant is back, with newly-matched dishes to the Lindeman’s Early Harvest range of wines.

The show is being held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre until Sunday (Jul 5).
