McKenna Announces Titan Partnership

McKenna bourbon has announced a three-year partnership with rugby league team the Jetstar Gold Coast Titans.

The deal, which will run until the end of 2012, is a continuance of its existing partnership with distributor Bacardi Lion, which has been in place since 2007.

The partnership includes the exclusive rights as ‘the spirit of choice’ at the Titans’ home games, as well as at the Titanium Bar in Surfers Paradise.

Bacardi Lion managing director, Colin Rochester, said that it was a great deal for both parties.

“We are confident the increased synergy with a great brand like McKenna bourbon as the face of the partnership will lead to bigger and better things for both rugby league club and sponsor,” he said.

McKenna bourbon is a twice-distilled bourbon that is aged for five years. It has a lightly spiced honey sweet palate, with a hint of caramel.
