Pay Rise For Jim Beam Drinkers (pic)

By Annette Shailer

In support of Jim Beam White & Cola now being available in a 440ml can - 17.5 percent larger than the regular 375ml can - Jim Beam is rolling out a promotion that will see six lucky people win a 17.5 percent pay increase.

‘The Pay Rise’ is a one-of-a-kind promotion developed for Jim Beam’s independent retail partners.

Consumers simply purchase a specially-marked Jim Beam White & Cola 440ml six-pack with the unique entry code on the packaging and send the code via SMS or online to be in the draw.

Beam Global Australia brand director – bourbon, Ray Noble, said that the promotion was aimed at satisfying Jim Beam drinkers while supporting independent retailers.

“Our consumers look to us to lead the way and reassure them why they are proud to drink Jim Beam, and ‘The Pay Rise’ is just another way we’re giving them something they’ll remember forever,” he said.

“The promotion around the new 440ml cans, which we developed specifically for our independent retail partners, also highlights yet another example of our continued effort to encourage and support our independent retailers through innovative products and promotions.

‘The Pay Rise’ will be supported with on-pack promotions as well as point-of-sale and will be active in over 1000 independent retail outlets nationwide.

The 17.5 percent pay rise will be determined on a $50,000 net salary.

The six winners will be drawn weekly commencing July 12.
