This week (Apr 12-16), Australia will welcome the founder of premium elderflower liqueur St-Germain, Robert J. Cooper, to its shores.

A third generation distiller, Cooper will host excusive lunches to VIP members of the trade, while educating them about the unique liqueur.

Cooper founded his company Cooper Spirits International in 2006 with a focus on developing craft spirits.

The following year, he introduced St-Germain Delice de Sureau, the first liqueur in the world to be created in the artisanal French manner from handpicked elderflower blossoms.

Local distributor and managing director of Vanguard Luxury Brands, James France, called St-Germain one of the “hottest brands in the US and other markets” and said he looked forward to Cooper’s visit.

“For Rob Cooper to spare a week to visit us here in Australia is testament to the quality of the bartenders we have in this country,” he said.

Introduced to Australia in 2008, St-Germain is recognised for its unique balance of flavours including notes of citrus, pear and tropical fruit.
