The Eatons Hill Hotel, which will be completed later this year, will feature the largest tavern in Australia, according to owners and operators the Comiskey Group.

The Comiskey family also own Beachmere Tavern on the north side of Brisbane near Caboolture.

According to Comiskey Group director, Rob Comiskey, the Eatons Hill Hotel will include over 6500 square metres of tavern.

“The Tavern and liquor barn are due for completion in late 2010 and accommodation mid 2011,” he said.

“Stage two includes a large shopping centre anchored by a Woolworths supermarket.”

The hotel will feature:

  • Over 6500Sqm of tavern
  • 70 x 4 star hotel rooms
  • 8 bars over four levels
  • 40 gaming machines and TAB
  • Large beer garden
  • Large function area (with a capacity of over 2000 people)
  • 1000sqm liquor barn and drive thru
