Iconic Australian brand Crown Lager was the official beer at the Australian Record Industry Awards (ARIA) last night (Nov 26).

The night, which celebrates the Australian music industry, was a huge success with UK pop sensation Robbie Williams a crowd favourite.

Premium CUB group marketing manager, Ben Summons, said CUB was proud to support the Australian music industry with their key brands Crown Lager and Pure Blonde.

“The ARIAs sponsorship is a natural fit for Crown Lager which has been synonymous with celebrations for the past 50 years and with Pure Blonde set to embark on a national summer campaign across 26 music festivals, these two brands work hand-in-hand to create a successful Arias partnership,” he said.

Winners on the night included Empire of the Sun, which took home an impressive four ARIAs, while Ladyhawke and AC/DC were also recognised.

The awards night is in its 23rd year and saw members of the music industry head to Acera Arena for the festivities.

Major supporters of the awards night, Crown Lager and Pure Blonde have been sponsoring the ARIAs for three years.
