Think Spirits will be taking over the distribution of the Jose Cuervo tequila range from Diageo as of July 1.
Sources have confirmed that the company has signed a deal to distribute the entire Jose Cuervo range in Australia.
This follows Diageo's announcement late last year that it had dropped its planned acquisition of the Jose Cuervo brand and would cease distributing the range in June 2013.
Think Spirits already has a working relationship with the Jose Cuervo Group, having recently signed a deal to distribute its 1800 Tequila, Gran Centenario Tequila and Agavero Tequila Liqueur brands.
The new deal is expected to see Think Spirits grow exponentially with the company already advertising for a range of sales manager positions across several states.
