The Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE) is celebrating its 20th anniversary at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre in Darling Harbour from August 16 to 18.

Since the first AGE in 1990, the event’s importance has grown as industry changes in the 1990s led to nearly all states and territories legalising gaming machines for use in clubs and hotels, not just casinos.

There are 30 companies that have been a part of every AGE since 1990 and will be exhibiting again this year.

With more than 80 per cent of the floor space already sold to exhibitors, there will be plenty of new product releases, new technology, new ideas and innovation.

A new feature this year is the Australasian Gaming Briefing to be held on August 17, which is designed to be a hard-hitting review of critical current issues.

The briefing will feature Channel 9 finance editor, Ross Greenwood, who will break down complex financial information into an easy-to-understand brief.

The Gaming Technologies Association is confident the briefing will be a success with several VIPs on-hand to discuss this year’s big issues.

To register for the AGE call the Gaming Expo Help Line on 1300 724 030 or click here.
