The island2island Beverage Company (i2i) has just taken over the local distribution for Broker's Gin, in a deal that will see the company distribute the brand for a minimum of three years.

"We believe our on premise partners, particularly those promoting cocktails, will welcome Broker's Gin and its unique taste," said i2i managing  director Les Page.

"It's a brilliant, versatile gin that makes a fabulous gin and tonic, but it is equally at home in a martini or indeed in any gin cocktail.

It is a very positive sign that i2i is growing as a nationwide, independent distributor of premium quality brands, that cares and nurtures brands under its stewardship."

Broker's Gin is available in over forty countries and according to the brand's co-founder, Andy Dawson, it has experienced annual sales growth of 40 per cent. Dawson also sees Australia as a key market for the brand.

The brand has received several accolades including scoring 97 at the  Ultimate  Spirits Challenge in New York, winning Masters Awards at the  London Gin Masters and being named the gin that makes the 'World's Best Dry Martini' at the London's Ultimate Cocktail Challenge.

Broker's Gin is made using a neutral spirit made from English wheat that is column distilled four times. From here, 10 botanicals are macerated in the neutral spirit for a day and then and distilled a fifth time in a pot still, which gives Broker's Gin's a rich and deep flavour.
