Time is running out to enter the De Kuyper liqueur competition, with entries closing next Tuesday (Aug 31).

Looking to add a new flavour to the existing Australian range, the company is calling on bartenders to help them choose what that flavour will be.

To enter, bartenders must vote on their favourite flavour from a list of eight – strawberry, crème de menthe, crème de bananes, mango, melon, cherry, passionfruit and advocaat – and then submit an original cocktail using their chosen flavour.

The top five entries will then be visited by their local Bacardi Lion brand ambassador and asked to make their drink, with the top two winning an all-expenses paid trip to Schiedam, The Netherlands, the home of the De Kuyper Distillery.

In addition, the flavour voted most popular will hit our shores later this year, joining the existing range of Triple Sec, Blue Curacao, Crème de Cacao White, Sour Grapefruit, Blueberry and Sour Rhubarb.
