Lion Nathan is to set up a mini-brewery outside Quay Bar at Customs House in Sydney to educate the public about natural beer and offer a free tasting.

The campaign stems from the ‘Natural Beer Promise: Brewed in Compliance’ stamp Lion Nathan unveiled last month to guarantee beer labelled with the stamp only contains water, malted grains, yeast, cane sugar and hops.

Lion Nathan chief brewer Bill Taylor and the brewing team will be at Quay Bar to answer questions about the preservative and additive-free beers.

A recent PureProfile national survey revealed that nine out of 10 Australians were unsure of what ingredients were used to make up beer.

The Natural Beer Bar will be at Customs House midday to 7:00pm this Thursday and Friday (October 23 – 24).
