After an impressive opening in April, the venue billed as the largest in Australia has opened two new sections to further expand its repertoire of patron-pleasing elements.

Taking advantage of Queensland’s favourable all-year-round climate, Eatons Hill Hotel has added a rooftop bar so patrons can enjoy an exposed fresh air area with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Tastefully decorated with lounges and designer furniture, the area has taken influence from the architecture of sub-tropical Queensland.

The outdoor area accommodates around 350 people and can be booked for private functions, with a Melbourne Cup Rooftop Party planned for November.

Also newly opened, the Grand Ballroom has been influenced by the ballrooms and theatres of yesteryear and boasts ornate ceilings, velvet curtains and a mosaic tiled bar proffering frosty draught beer, wine and other selected drinks.

Intended for over 2000 guests, the area is appropriate for headline attractions to Eatons Hill, or private functions such as weddings and corporate events.

“We are very excited about the opening of the function centre, it will not only host functions for up to two and a half thousand people, but is ready to accommodate some big name national and international entertainment acts starting with Pete Murray in October,” general manager, Russell Reeves, explained.
