Suntory is calling for the best new cocktail recipe for 2008 and will send the winner on a European bar and distillery adventure with $1000 spending money.
The Suntory Cup Cocktail Competition is judged purely on the cocktail’s merits, with officials unaware of who created each competing cocktail.
This system led to five out of seven finalists last year having never competed in a cocktail competition before, including the winner Marco Noe.
Entrants can submit their recipes here, between July 1 and August 31.
Suntory is also hosting ‘How to invent a winning drink’ Master Classes, held nationally throughout July and August.
