The 14th Annual Coogee Bay Hotel Charity Golf Day was held at St Michael’s Golf Course earlier this week with the hospitality industry turning out in force.

With the help of sponsors the iconic Coogee beach venue raised over $158,000 for Sydney Children’s Hospital.

Players were made up from guests and sponsors, including Platinum and Gold sponsors British American Tobacco, Coca-Cola Amatil, Carlton United Breweries, Lion Nathan, AHA NSW, Nova 96.9, BluFi, Bowen Legal, Reward Distribution & Hospitality, Cleaning & Catering Products, Humphrey & Edwards Architects and Interior Designers, Diageo, ANZ, TJS Services, Premium Beverages, Oakstand Property Group, Austbrokers ABS, Aristocrat, and TheShout sister publication, Australian Hotelier.

Teams were joined by pro golfers and celebrities, including Deborah Hutton, Mike Whitney, Tahir Bilgic and Braith Anasta.

The Annual Coogee Bay Hotel Charity Golf Day is the cornerstone event of the Hotel’s pledge to raise $1 million dollars for the hospital over the next five years.

The pledge was made in support of the hospital’s plans to build a new clinical wing.

Over the past 13 years, Coogee Bay Hotel has raised more than $1.4 million for the children’s hospital, and is proud to be a part of such a worthy community cause.
