The Wine Communicators of Australia (WCA) will host its annual Trophy Winners' Lunch on Friday 29 July and tickets are on sale now.

The Trophy Winners' Lunch will see WCA announce the ‘Legend of the Vine’ award. This award recognises a member of the Australian wine industry who has made an outstanding contribution to the industry both locally and abroad.

The WCA KPMG Sydney Royal Wine Show Trophy Winners' Lunch will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney CBD. The day will begin with a trade tasting at the Sydney Show Ground, Howie Pavilion, with a courtesy bus available to take guests back to the lunch.

A WCA spokesperson told TheShout that more than 300 wine industry professionals are expected to attend.

"What a lunch is expected this year in the Four Seasons ballroom. Join over 300 wine industry peers to taste the 2016 trophy winning wines, medal winning produce, plus gain insights from this years show from Sam Connew, Chair of Judges and Michelle Bouffard, guest international judge."

Tickets are still available from the WCA website with bookings closing on Tuesday 26 July.
