For the past two years Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) has run a Vintec fridge promotion and following the success of those, the 2016 campaign is now underway.

The promotion, which runs until 31 August, allows consumers to purchase discounted Vintec fridges after spending a certain amount on wine brands included in the promotion.

A spokesperson for TWE told TheShout: “The promotion has been conducted for the past two years by TWE in conjunction with a number of our retail partners, and has been a great success in offering wine enthusiasts a premium product for outstanding value, along with some of our most iconic brands.

“This year a number of our regional gems brands are on offer as part of the promotion, in support of helping showcase these iconic regional wines.”

One of the brands included in this year’s offer is St Huberts, and TWE recently announced the launch of The Stag wines under the St Huberts label, as the first of its regional gems.

As well as St Huberts, the other participating brands are Penfolds, Georg Jensen, Devils Lair and Coldstream Hills.

The spokesperson also told TheShout that this year’s promotion is “an even more premium offering from the previous years”. This year two fridges, a 110-bottle cabinet and a 30-bottle cabinet, are available and both are dual zoned, with areas for wines to enjoy now or cellar for later, they also have LED control panels and higher quality finishes.

The details of the promotion are consumers who spend $350 on participating wines are eligible to purchase a 30-bottle dual zone, Vintec cabinet for $450, the cabinet has a $1100 RRP. Also anyone spending $500 or more on participating wines can purchase the 110-bottle cabinet for $1500; this cabinet has a $3000 RRP.

This year’s promotion is available at participating fine wine retailers including Dan Murphy’s, Vintage Cellars, Costco, Langtons, Cellarmasters and selected fine wine retailers and the spokesperson added that the promotion will be supported by an above-the-line campaign which will focus on driving traffic into participating retailers.
