Sydney microbrewery Young Henrys now has its beers on tap at more than ten venues, and has announced the release of the latest in a series of inventive collaboration brews with rock n' roll artists.

Young Henrys began brewing in the last couple of months and now has a core range of beers including a Natural Lager, Real Ale and Hop Ale.

Its new collaboration beer, 'Fresh Six' was developed by brewer Richard Adamson together with veteran Sydney rockers, Front End Loader. [continues below]

"Clocking in at an evil 6.66 per cent, this cheeky, 'balls to the wall' pale ale combines the dry spicy flavour of rye with the sucker punch of dark agave syrup," Young Henry's says.

"Like a Front End Loader gig, this beer will leave you drop-jaw stunned, slightly deaf and winded with a grin from ear to ear."

The Fresh Six will be launched this Saturday July 14 at Front End Loader's sold out show at the Annandale Hotel.

It follows the brewer's recent beer collaboration with Peter Fenton, frontman of Crow, which spawned the Black En More, a 5.5 per cent dark spiced lager that is now sold out.

Young Henrys beers are now available on tap at Sydney venues including Little Guy in Glebe, East Village in Darlinghurst, The Duke in Enmore, the Bar at the end of the Wharf, The Union and Bloodwood Bar & Restaurant in Newtown, Petersham Bowling Club, Harts Pub in The Rocks and Mojo Records Bar.

Adamson is selling 'growlers' direct to the public from the brewery and expects to have bottled beers available soon.

  1. Enjoying this at the Illawarra Brewery. My current fave brew. The mouthfeel alone is worth the admission. Sensational. Great work, guys. Keep it up!
