Clubs, pubs, cafes and restaurants in Western Sydney’s Parramatta are now refusing service to bikies, following recently amended local licensing laws.

Parramatta licensees are now ordering any bikies wearing gang colours to leave their premises immediately. Bikies who refuse to comply risk being arrested and charged with trespassing.

Not one of the 12 hotels operating in Parramatta has contested the amendment to their licences.

The Royal Oak Hotel licensee, Troy Williams, said he hadn’t experienced any issues following the amendments.

“The guys here knew [the law] was coming. The Banditos were happy to comply. I don’t know about other pubs but I believe it’s been a good move for the area,” he said.
