The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria is calling for expressions of interest for the role of Head Judge of the Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA).
The move comes after Warren Pawsey decided not to extend his three-year stint as the AIBA’s Head Judge.
The AIBA is one of the world’s largest beer awards, judging both draught and packaged beer and in 2016 there were over 1790 entries from 326 breweries representing 36 countries.
In a statement the Society said: “The RASV extends its sincere thanks and gratitude to outgoing AIBA Head Judge Warren Pawsey of Little Creatures for his dedication and commitment to the role and advocacy for the competition these past three years.”
Anyone interested in the position can register their interest by emailing beer@rasv.com.au to get a copy of the position description.
