1. Promoter
The promoter is Food & Beverage Media, ABN 81 163 792 292, located at 41 Bridge Road, Glebe, NSW 2037 (“the Promoter”).
2. Eligibility
- Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over who are currently employed or working in the liquor trade (retailers, wholesalers, bartenders, bar owners, distributors, etc.).
- Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
- Entrants must be able to provide proof of industry affiliation if requested.
3. Competition Period
The competition commences on 15 May 2025 and closes on 25 September 2025. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
4. How to Enter
To enter, participants must answer the quiz questions published on the National Liquor News website, completing the online form to do so, and provide contact details as outlined on the website. There are 10 rounds of questions, published fortnightly apart, and entrants must answer all questions.
5. Prize Details
- The major prize, provided by Vinarchy, consists of a cellar door experience at the Petaluma and Hardys Tintara wineries, including flights, two nights’ accommodation and $1000 spending money.
- The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
- A minor prize will be awarded each month.
6. Winner Selection
- The winner of the major prize will be selected at random from all entrants that have answered every question correctly (or from all those who answered most questions correctly). The winner will be identified/selected on 30 September 2025.
- The winner will be notified via email and/or phone within 7 business days of the draw.
- The winner will be announced on the National Liquor News website.
8. Privacy
- Personal information collected will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Entrants agree to subscribe to Food & Beverage Media’s newsletters. They can unsubscribe at any time.
- Entrant details may be used for future promotional purposes by the Promoter unless the entrant opts out.
9. Disqualification
- The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries that are incomplete, indecipherable, or non-compliant with these Terms and Conditions.
- Misconduct or fraudulent behaviour will result in disqualification.
10. Liability
- The Promoter is not responsible for any technical issues or lost entries.
- To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with the prize or competition.
12. General
- The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of NSW.
