The Victorian State Finals of the Angostura Cocktail Challenge were held last night at Melbourne’s LuWOW bar where eight bartenders competed for a spot in the Oceania Finals that will be held on October 30.

Also competing on the night were Kylie Kearney, Shaun Byrne, Kyle Aitken, Michael Prosser, Andrew Buykx-Smith, Kayla Spencer and Evin Craney.

The NSW finalists will be showcasing their skills and aiming to earn their spot in the Oceania Finals next Monday September 3 at Sydney’s Pelicano Bar.

Competing on the night will be Ben Blair, Jean Munos, Guillermo Arnal-Machado, Igor Pachi, Marko Farac, Dula Lorenzo, Kevin Peters and Jessica Arnott.

The event starts at 7pm and the first 100 people through the door will receive a free drink card, along with the opportunity to win the lucky door prize of a bottle of Angostura 1919 rum.
