The Sydney Royal Wine Show Trophy Winners lunch is on next month, bringing winemakers, producers and industry members together for the big afternoon.

The Wine Communicators of Australia (WCA) will host the event at Star City on February 13 on behalf of the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS NSW).

Matched to the lunch will be the award-winning wines, complete with chairman of judges Iain Riggs and international judge Barry Burton presenting their thoughts on the results.

Also included in the afternoon is the presentation of both the Australian Wine Communicator Award and the WCA sponsored Gourmet Traveller WINE New Writer Award.

Guests will have the option of tasting more than 3000 entries that morning at the Sydney Showground, before a bus will head back from Olympic Park to Star City for the lunch.

Award-winning chef Sean Connelly has designed the day’s exclusive four-course menu, which includes some additional Sydney Royal Dairy and Fine Food Show medal winning produce.

Following with tradition, guests will head to the rooftop Astral Bar for a post-lunch drink, providing the chance to catch up with industry colleagues and kick off the year in style.

Tickets are $120 for WCA members, $160 for guests and $1500 for a table of 10.
