The hospitality industry has turned out for the three-day Australasian Gaming Expo (AGE), which kicked off yesterday (Aug 8) at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Hosted by the Gaming Technologies Association (GTA), the AGE is in its 21st year, with more than 6000 key industry members expected over the three days.

GTA chief executive, Ross Ferrar, said that there was some impressive new technology on display by many of the exhibitors and encouraged the industry to come down and check out all the action.

“There are some fantastic new platforms at this year’s AGE, which are all about building the future of gaming,” Ferrar said.

“The technology is changing and becoming a reality and what is on display here is really exciting because of its potential.”

More than 170 exhibitors will be showcasing the latest in gaming and hospitality products until tomorrow 4pm, including gaming giants Aristocrat Technologies, IGT, Aruze Gaming, Shuffle Master Australasia, Ainsworth Game Technology and Konami Australia.
