French liqueur Grand Marnier has launched a brand-new limited edition bottle in time for the Christmas period.

The seventh in an annual series of ‘Cordon Rouge’ limited edition bottles, the new bottle brands itself as ‘Irresistible’ and the iconic bottle is decorated with a smooth red lacquer.

Created in 1880, the orange-flavoured liqueur first released a limited edition bottle in 1927.

This latest bottle pays homage to its creator Loius-Alexandre Marnier Lapostolle.

Since 2003, Grand Marnier has launched a limited edition bottle to coincide with the holiday season.

The bottle will be available in selected high-end bars and specialist retailers across Australia.
