Premium Australian beer company St Arnou has been appointed official beer sponsor of the NAB Victorian PGA Championship and a Western Australian yacht race.

The PGA Championship is part of the Von Nida Tour — a joint venture between the Australian PGA and the Australian PGA Tour that provides members of both organsiations opportunities to prepare themselves for professional golfing careers. The Victorian PGA Championship will be held at the Sanctuary Lakes Resort from January 31 through to February 3. The prize giving ceremony will be held by the 18th green near the St Arnou beer tent. Winners, players and audience will be showered with beer at the end of the tournament.

St Arnou has also signed on as a sponsor of the Royal Freshwater Yacht Club’s Bunbury Return yacht race. The race began in 1948 as a one-way race from Perth to Bunbury but was since expanded to include the return leg. Nineteen yachts will participate in this year’s race, which commences 9:30am on January 27 from Fremantle. First prize will be a set of St Arnou signature dual branded sailing jackets.

Formed in 2001, St Arnou specialises in the distribution of award winning European-styled draught beers, including Pilsner, Pale Ale and St Cloud. In 2007 the company’s most popular draught beer, St Arnou Premium Blonde, was released in a bottle.
