America's largest sporting events the Super Bowl took place today, and Budweiser and Bud Light launched a series of commercials for the event.

US broadcaster CBS is believed to be charging up to US$5 million for a 30 second slot during today's game and Budweiser and Bud Light have certainly taken their fair share.

From Helen Mirren calling drunk drivers "pillocks" to Amy Schumer and Seth Rogen launching the Bud Light Party, this year's commercials have been both fun and serious. Here is a selection of this year's Super Bowl commercials.
