Stan Sport and SportsPick Live (Entain Venues) have partnered to distribute the Sonny Bill Williams and Paul Gallen fight live to pubs, clubs and bars across Australia, without requiring a Stan Sport subscription.
The fight takes place on Wednesday, 16 July at Qudos Bank Arena and presents a significant commercial opportunity for venues to attract mid-week foot traffic, activate screens, and increase spend per head.
“This is more than a fight — it’s a moment of national interest, and we’re making sure venues of all sizes can tap into the demand,” said Mark Sturdy, managing director of Entain Venues.
“By enabling one-off access without lock-in subscriptions, we’re removing barriers and giving operators real flexibility.”
Williams and Gallen have been promising a fight for a number of years and this grudge match promises to a fan favourite, both in the arena and in venues.
Through SportsPick Live’s national IPTV infrastructure powered by Nightlife Music, licensed venues can access the fight on a one-time basis, or via preferred rates for existing Stan Sport commercial subscribers.
