Flying Brick Cider, a landmark Victorian destination just outside of Geelong, will be celebrating World Cider Day on Saturday 3 June.
The celebrations will take place at the Flying Brick Cider House, where cider-making demonstrations will take place, while a massive line-up of live music acts will keep the party going. Kids will eb catered for with activities, and there will be plenty of food to choose from.
And of course, cider will take centre stage at the celebrations, with Flying Brick’s cider range available to taste, mulled ciders, cider cocktails, and new release ciders.
One such new release, is Flying Brick’s ‘Methode Champenoise’ Cider, better known as MC Cider. Made from 100 per cent specific heritage cider apples and traditionally crafted, Flying Brick cider maker Nyall Condon says it’s a truly indulgent cider.
“The deep elegant colour heralds the ensuing weight and richness of this magnificent reserve cider. Complex and tannic, an abundance of traditional style convenes alongside creamy textures throughout, the result of maturing on fermentation lees.”
“Rich, sweet fresh apple characters and perfect natural acid balance. Although leaning towards the dryer cider style, a lovely round palate with elegant soft edges.”
The limited editon MC Cider comes in a 750ml bottle, and has an RRP of $40.
Tickets can be purchased to Flying Brick's World Cider Day celebrations here for $20, or can be purchased on the day for $25.
