The latest venue from Feros Group, Highfield Caringbah, is set to open towards the end of the year.
In Sydney’s south, the venue is described by the group as a “premium pub” that will showcase several types of offerings over three levels. Constructed in the space that includes the established Huxley’s sports bar and Ugly Pizza restaurant on the ground floor, the venue will also consist of the Public House on the second level, with a bar and bistro showcasing a classic pub offering. Feros Group have suggested that it will have “one of the best TAB facilities in Sydney”, including more than 80 televisions capturing all the latest sporting events.
Located on the third level of Highfield Caringbah is The Botanical, a rooftop terrace that captures the city skyline and as far out to North Sydney. This space will include a fireplace, cocktail bar, a range of dining areas along with a living garden wall.
The name Highfield Caringbah is used in homage to the original name of the suburb – Highfield – which was used prior to 1911.
Director and CEO of The Feros Group, Chris Feros, said the new venue will deliver Sutherland Shire locals a venue offering comparable to any city pub.
“Highfield Caringbah will be a destination for Shire locals to experience the feel of the best city venues, yet still offer an affordable offering that appeals to all. We are really excited about the launch of this venue, which is to be due for completion in late 2017.”
This is the second venue opened by Feros Group in the area in 2017, with the greenfields Prince Hotel in Kirrawee opened at the beginning of the year. To read more on The Prince, check out the Australian Hotelier feature here.
