Voting for the Australian Hotels Association New South Wales (AHA NSW) People Choice Award will open on Monday, with pub patrons from across the state given their chance to vote for their favourite venue.
This will be the fourth time this award has been part of the AHA NSW Awards for Excellence, and is the only award where members of the public get to vote for the best local in NSW.
AHA NSW CEO John Wheland said: “Whether you’re there to celebrate a big event, on a date night, out for a family dinner or just enjoying a quite drink in front of the footy, everyone loves their local.
“This award is a chance for members of the community to give something back to hardworking publicans and their team for providing a ‘home away from home’ every day of the year. The fact more than 10,000 people have already voted just goes to show the importance of a regional or suburban pub to their communities.
“Voting for finalists begins Monday, it’s going to be close, best of luck to all.”
The top 10 pubs in the running for the People’s Choice Award 2025 are:
- Balldale Hotel, Balldale
