Banktech and Utopia Gaming Systems have this week announced the signing of new sponsorship agreements with the Australian Hotels Association (AHA) NSW.
Banktech, operator of the CashConnect ATM, said it has built a strong relationship with the AHA over the past 20 years, and looked forward to continuing to help its members grow, particularly as they come out of Covid.
“We have always found the AHA NSW to be a highly professional organisation and we are happy to throw our support behind them,” Banktech General Manager Henry Kiwarkis said.
“This was certainly true during the worst of the pandemic. The AHA offered strong leadership to the industry, while also working closely with its suppliers to ensure everyone kept their doors open.”
AHA NSW CEO John Whelan said, “We are pleased to continue our long-term partnership with Banktech, who have always been strong supporters of our industry, and have an excellent reputation among our members.”
Utopia Gaming Systems, owner of the Global Gaming System and QuickPay CRT manufacturer, also signed a new sponsorship agreement with the AHA NSW for 2022, upgrading its sponsorship to become a silver partner.
While Utopia is a relatively new name, its predecessor Global Gaming Industries, has been a member of the AHA NSW for 30 years.
“We are pleased to show our support for the AHA NSW and the important advocacy work it does for the industry,” said Utopia’s head of sales Scott Dawson.
“We are looking forward to working with the AHA NSW to help the industry rebound after a tough couple of years. This is in addition to steps we have already taken such as offering payment deferrals during the 2020 and 2021 lockdowns.”
According to Whelan, The Global CCU has been a fixture in pubs for many years. “To have Utopia continue to invest in their gaming system and our industry is very pleasing.”
