Thirty-five venues around Australia will be taking part in Jim Beam’s inaugural “Mate of a Mate’s Day” on Friday 14 December 2018.
The day looks to encourage Australians to come together and celebrate treating each other well, with a complimentary drink from Jim Beam, either a Jim Beam and Cola or a Jim Beam Highball.
From 4pm to 7pm (while drinks last, please enjoy responsibly) on Friday 14 December, Jim Beam and the 35 venues will be helping Australians raise a toast to mates new and old.
“Jim Beam stands for togetherness, respect, unity and acceptance and Mate of a Mate’s Day allows us to recognise and celebrate those people who share the same values as us,” said Trent Chapman, Marketing Director Oceania at Beam Suntory.
“ ‘Come as a friend, leave as family’ are the words emblazoned on the walls of our distillery in the US but the motto very much rings true to the Aussie culture,” said Chapman.
