Applications have opened to women in gaming and hospitality for an international scholarship, Leading Innovative Change, delivered online by Berkeley University of California.
Women in Gaming & Hospitality Australasia (WGHA) offers scholarships to support the continual professional development of women in the industry and to recognise the skills and contribution that women bring to the gaming, hospitality and gaming-related industries.
WGHA has now opened applications for a Leading Innovative Change scholarship, which is a six-week online program. Earlier this year, Daisy Brown from Hornsby RSL received a scholarship to the online Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)’s Leading Operational Excellence online course.
“We are thrilled to present another international scholarship to assist a female in our industry reach their full potential,” WGHA CEO Helen Galloway told Australian Hotelier.
“Professional development opportunities for women assist with career growth and breaking down barriers in our male-dominated industry.”
Berkeley-Haas professors are recognised worldwide for their forward-thinking research and thought leadership, according to WGHA, and the course will guide the successful candidate to innovate their business model and reinvigorate their leadership approach.
The course aims to strengthen the ability to foster innovation, transform your organisation, drive new levels of growth, and sustain success through continual assessment and reinvention.
Females in the gaming, hospitality and gaming-related industries who are connected to Australia and New Zealand are welcome to apply for all scholarships. Applications are now open and close on 31st August 2021. For more information head to the WGHA website.
