The Comiskey Group continues to expand its holistic approach to hospitality, with its co-ownership of new Queensland music festival, Park Sounds.
Comiskey Group has partnered with Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism (MBRIT) to present the inaugural Park Sounds music festival, which will celebrate Australian music talent.
The one-day festival will be held in Pine Rivers Park, one hour north of Brisbane. This year’s event will be held on 12 November, and will be headlined by Australian hip hop group and multiple ARIA award winners, Bliss N Eso. The line-up also includes other Australian hip hop acts such as Drapht and Pon Cho; dance acts including Running Touch and GG Magree; and solo artist Nicole Millar.
The festival is being jointly presented by MBRIT and Eatons Hill Hotel, which is itself currently undergoing a major transformation. In late July, Comiskey Group broke ground on a $45 million development of a mixed-use hospitality and retail complex that will be built around Eatons Hill Hotel, and will include a Woolworths supermarket, 15 smaller retail stores, a restaurant precinct and a 88-room motel.
