HEINEKEN-owned Drinkworks welcomes Birra Moretti

Drinkworks, part of The HEINEKEN Company, today announced it will manage the Australian distribution of Birra Moretti effective from 10 Jan 2025. There will be a soft transition from 2December – 10 January where customers can order from both Drinkworks & Lion Australia to minimise disruption to our customers over the festive season.

There will be a soft transition from 2^nd December to 10^th January where customers can order from both Drinkworks & Lion Australia to minimise disruption to our customers over the festive season.

The famous Italian brew, owned by Heineken NV globally, will be transitioning to Drinkworks, bringing Birra Moretti back under the management of a Heineken-run business. Customers enjoying Birra Moretti won’t experience disruption during the transition from Lion Australia to Drinkworks. Both parties are collaborating to ensure a seamless change-over.

Birra Moretti, founded by Luigi Moretti more than a century ago, is a world-renowned Italian lager beer brewed with the highest-quality traditional ingredients and craftsmanship since 1859. The production process has remained unchanged, as only the best raw materials are sourced to create the award-winning Birra Moretti. The special blend of high-quality hops gives Moretti a unique taste and fragrance, enhancing its perfectly balanced bitter taste.
