Gennady Golovkin defends his multiple world titles against Vanes Martirosyan this Sunday in a huge day for venues and boxing fans alike. Fox Sports and Foxtel licensed venue subscribers can deliver this fight at no charge on the normally pay-per-view Main Event channel. The fight card starts at 12pm AEST.
Fox Sports’ national pay-per-view manager, Japhy Duldig, told TheShout Golovkin is one of the most popular fighters with Australian fans.
“He’s been a fan favourite for years – with his one punch power and aggressive boxing,” he said.
“Despite the disappointment of his highly anticipated rematch with Canelo Alvarez being postponed we are pleased to make available his fight against Martirosyan at no extra charge for licensed venues subscribers.”
Subscribing licensed venues wishing to deliver the bout need to tune into the Main Event channel from 12pm AEST this Sunday.
“There is no need to fill in booking sheets or send us emails as this event is available at no extra charge to our customers,” Duldig said.
“The event is still pay-per-view for residential customers so it’s a great bonus for venues to drive Sunday revenue with one of the best fighters on the planet.”
Duldig added that Fox Sports Venues have digital artwork available on their website which venues can download to help promote the event to patrons.
The Tony Bellew and David Haye heavyweight clash is also live on Fox Sports this Sunday at no extra charge to Fox Sports and Foxtel licensed venue subscribers.
