The Pub Leaders Summit, brought to you by Australian Hotelier and Coca-Cola, will be held 21-22 July at Eatons Hill Hotel & Accommodation, in northern Brisbane. The Pub Leaders Summit first ventured to Queensland in 2023, hosted at Eatons Hill Hotel, and is pleased to return to the esteemed pub this year.

This year’s conference program has been launched, and will include several esteemed pub operators, bringing their experiences and insights to the Summit. Hear from the likes of Rob Comiskey, director of Comiskey Group on evolving entertainment offers, as well as new F&B opportunities. Other pub operators taking part include Tom Francis (Francis Venues); Lucinda Dowling-Black (Full Moon Hotel); Adonis Ghanem (Ghanem Group) and Albert Hakfoort (Hakfoort Group).

Paul Carew, the new MD of ALH Hotels, will also discuss taking on the biggest pub gig in Australia, and his priorities for the national group in the year ahead.

Outside of the pub world, thought leaders in other sectors and specialties will also be bringing their knowledge to the Summit. Celia Harding, will be talking about the new frontier of Language Engine Optimisation (LEO), and how that will now dictate your venue’s online visibility. Andrew McDonald, CIO for ASM Global APAC, will talk about the technologies and software that make running large venues and stadia like Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre and Suncorp Stadium run smoothly. Danny Nixon-Smith will bring his knowledge and experience across multiple gaming jurisdictions to the conference; while Craig Woolford (MST Marquee) will present an overview of how global macroeconomic factors will influence the sector in the year ahead.

A showcase from the Pub Leaders Summit sponsors will also be on display throughout the day, and at the end of the conference Networking Drinks will be held, courtesy of the Pub Leaders Summit’s principal partner, Coca-Cola.

Day Two of the Pub Leaders Summit will host the half-day Study Tour, visiting three pubs around Brisbane – including the newly opened Dakabin Hotel and the Lord Stanley Hotel. Study Tour tickets can only be purchased by pub operators, and only in conjunction with a conference ticket.
