#StrongerTogether, Australian Hotelier’s COVID-19 resource hub for on-premise venue teams, continues to bring more information, news and trading updates to our readers.
As venue trading continues to unfold in new and unexpected ways in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, Australian Hotelier, in partnership with JLL Hotels & Hospitality and Kaddy, is continually updating the resource hub to add the most recent and relevant information, examples of great innovation by venues, and advice from within and outside of the industry.
Since launching the initiative ten days ago, #StrongerTogether has been updated with the latest government news in terms of taxation and fee relief, and advice from industry suppliers for best practice when it comes to inventory. There is also a comprehensive piece on the myriad ways that we can individually help support the industry, whether that’s through supporting local movements, backing petitions or engaging on social media.
The most recent additions include the launch of #HospoHappyHour, a daily web series in support of mental health and wellbeing for hospitality workers; how Lion and CUB have been supporting publicans in efforts to sell draught beer; and what the labour market will look like for employers and employees on the other side of the pandemic.
