Signature Hospitality’s sports bar concept The Sporting Globe Bar & Grill has announced the opening of its fourth venue in Western Australia, at the Floreat Forum in Perth.
Designed to accommodate over 400 patrons, the new venue includes an open-air beer garden with a large screen, a restaurant, TAB facilities, and more than 50 high-definition screens, including touchscreen TV booths displaying a variety of sports from around the world.
Celebrating the official opening of the venue, The Sporting Globe has teamed up with the Perth Wildcats to craft a unique Wildcats-themed burger. The Ballers Burger will be available during the opening rounds of the upcoming basketball season as the venue shows its support for the team’s pursuit of an 11th championship.
Third time franchisee and hockey olympian Tim Deavin, who also operates Sporting Globe venues in Rockingham and Mandurah, commented on the opening of the new venue.
“After months of hard work, we’re thrilled to swing open the doors here in Floreat and extend a warm welcome to all the sports fans north of the river.
“This is an exciting week for us as we embrace the local community, just ahead of the AFL Grand Final and the tip-off of the NBL season. We’re eagerly looking forward to rallying behind the Wildcats and satisfying the appetite of the loyal Red Army with the Ballers Burger.”
Signature Hospitality Group, which operates The Sporting Globe, is known for its commitment to supporting the local community, including donations of more than $75,000 to 35 West Australian grassroots clubs.
“It is exciting to expand our presence in Western Australia, recognising the tremendous opportunity to bring some of our unique bar and grill offering to the sports-hungry fans on the West Coast,” said James Sinclair, CEO at Signature Hospitality Group.
“We also congratulate Tim for launching his third franchise within our network. Tim’s demonstrated success with his franchises underscores his wavering dedication and expertise, making him the ideal partner for launching our new location at the Floreat Forum.”
Celebrations at the new venue will kick off on Thursday 14 September, involving live music, face painting and the chance to win prizes on a spin-to-win wheel.
