A topping out ceremony was held at Oran Park Hotel yesterday to celebrate the completion of the main structural works at the new hospitality destination.
The three key project partners, Momento Hospitality, Versatile Construction and Archebiosis Architects, were on hand to mark the completion of the highest structural point of the venue.
With the main structural work now complete and work underway internally, Momento Hospitality CEO Marcello Colosimo shared his delight at the project’s progress.
“Today marks a pivotal moment in the development of the Oran Park Hotel which is set to become NSW’s largest hospitality destination. The enthusiasm we’ve had from the community has been overwhelmingly positive and we can’t wait to open our doors later this year,” he said.
Versatile Group’s managing director Fabrizio Perilli also commented on the progress of the project.
“Today’s topping out celebration brings the Western Sydney community one step closer to experiencing the super-pub experience curated by hospitality experts and our project partners, Momento Hospitality,” he said.
“Versatile Construction is proud to be responsible for delivering the experience that will enhance the wellbeing and lifestyles of so many.”
Located at the intersection of Dick Johnson Drive and Central Avenue, the $40 million project extends beyond the traditional realms of a pub, encompassing three levels of hospitality experiences.
The first stage of the Oran Park Hotel, which includes an expansive indoor-outdoor bistro and lounge, Papi’s Pizza pizzeria, and children’s play area, has a projected opening date of 1 July 2024. This stage will also feature an interactive sports bar, complete with multiple large screens, pool tables and darts.
MP Tanya Davies, member for Badgerys Creek, congratulated everyone involved at the Oran Park Hotel on the topping out milestone, sharing her excitement for the opening of the venue.
“I look forward to the opening day when the Oran Park community and visitors to the area can enjoy a high quality and family-friendly destination that will foster connections and increase local employment.”
The second stage of the venue, set to open in December this year, will include a dedicated meeting and events floor on level two and a luxe rooftop bar, Jinja, on level three.
Designed to cater to a variety of hospitality experiences and functions, future stages of the venue will also include a large ballroom, training rooms and two multi-purpose luxe cinemas.
In addition, the completed venue will include a range of environmentally friendly features such as EV charging, solar panels and advanced on-site food and organic waste recycling systems.
