Oyster Bay Sparkling Cuvée Brut takes best in class and sparkles at the prestigious International Wine and Spirits Competition 2024, London. Oyster Bay Sparkling Cuvée Brut was awarded a remarkable 96 points and a Gold Medal. This was not only the highest-scoring sparkling wine from New Zealand but also the highest-scoring New Zealand wine overall in the competition. This is an outstanding result in such a large competition with an incredible diversity of wines entered.

The International Wine and Spirits Competition was first established in 1969 and this year’s awards was the biggest to date, with more than 120 international judges and thousands of wines from around the world. Oyster Bay has a long successful history with the competition, with the very first vintage of Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc judged ‘Best Worldwide’ at The International Wine and Spirit Competition in London in 1991.
