Thirsty Camel is preparing for the long weekend by bringing the Aussie Easter tradition of eating seafood to its Marine Hotel liquor store on Good Friday.

For one day only, consumers will have the chance to visit the Thirsty Camel Beer Battered Fish ‘N’ Chippy, a drive-through fish and chip pop up launched in collaboration with Better Beer.

Thanks to the partnership, shoppers who spend over $5 at any Thirsty Camel store will be able to choose from three different beer batters:

  • Better Beer Zero Carb Fish ‘N’ Chips: Ultra-crisp and dry, cutting through the batter for an extra clean bite.
  • Better Beer Middy Fish ‘N’ Chips: Smooth and light, balancing the delicious salt and crunch of fish and chips.
  • Better Beer Arvo Ale Fish ‘N’ Chips: Citrusy and refreshing, the perfect crisp batter.

Lisa O’Donovan, National Marketing Manager for Thirsty Camel, says: “We’re bringing you the Thirsty Camel Beer Battered Fish ‘N’ Chippy as our fun way of celebrating the holidays and bringing people together over a classic Easter tradition. Gather your crew, soak up the long weekend, and dig into some crispy, beer-battered goodness.”

The event is the latest in a series of pop-up drive through activations, following a partnership with Good Marks Tattoos which offered a free drive-through tattoo for AFL fans at the Thirsty Camel Grandview Hotel store.

The drive-through activation also forms part of Thirsty Camel’s Easter campaign. Running for four weeks from 31 March and strategically capturing both Easter and Anzac Day trading periods, the integrated campaign also includes national radio coverage, paid Meta, YouTube, in-store POS and more.

The Thirsty Camel Beer Battered Fish ‘N’ Chippy will be available from 12-5pm on Good Friday at the Thirsty Camel Marine Hotel in Brighton, Victoria.
