Kent Street Cellars has reported strong growth this year, adding more than 1,200 new products to its online portfolio and securing rare allocations in Japanese whisky and prestige Champagne.

The independent retailer, which began as a boutique store in Sydney’s CBD in 2010, now lists 8,500 SKUs online. Its Champagne portfolio has become a particular strength, with Bollinger and Dom Pérignon joined by specialist and collectible cuvées that are rarely seen in broader retail.

Operating exclusively online since 2020, Kent Street Cellars delivers nationwide, positioning itself as a key channel for premium and hard-to-find bottles. Customers in Sydney Metro can also access same-day or three-hour delivery, a service it says sets a benchmark for speed and convenience in liquor e-commerce.

The business continues to record double-digit year-on-year growth, backed by a loyal repeat-customer base. More than 3,700 reviews place its customer satisfaction rating at 4.68/5, with common praise for “service, speed, and expertise.”

Kent Street Cellars’ expansion highlights ongoing demand for premium products in Australia’s liquor market, with collectors and enthusiasts increasingly seeking access to limited allocations outside of traditional retail. By broadening its range and securing specialist imports, the retailer is positioning itself to capture this trend.

Independent and Australian-owned, Kent Street Cellars runs from a Sydney base, with its team continuing to expand the portfolio while maintaining focus on customer service and fulfilment. Further growth is expected as the business builds on its reputation in premium spirits and Champagne.
