After the first leg of the trip in Barcelona, ILG’s 50th anniversary Study Tour continued in Lisbon last week, where delegates were warmly welcomed with an authentic Portuguese dinner, setting the stage for the next chapter of celebration and connection.
The city revealed its charm through a lively tuk tuk tour which took the group across the city, visiting Miradouro da Senhora do Monte for sweeping views of Lisbon, the charming streets of Alfama and Parque Eduardo VII, ending with a Portuguese lunch.
The journey then ventured beyond Lisbon to the town of Sintra, where the group explored the National Palace of Sintra – one of the country’s oldest and most storied landmarks – before heading to the coast to visit Europe’s westernmost point Cabo da Roca, and spend an afternoon in Cascais.
On the final day, delegates had free time to experience Lisbon, before the tour drew to a close with a gala dinner that brought everyone together to reflect, celebrate, and share stories from an unforgettable chapter in ILG’s 50th anniversary celebrations.
