Hawke’s Brewing Co. is providing the refreshment this summer with the launch of Hawke’s Half Pacific Ale; a fresh, fruit-forward addition to the booming low alcohol category. Landing on shelves from September 19th, this tropical-style Pacific Ale follows the success of Hawke’s award-winning Half XPA, offering drinkers a deliciously easygoing alternative at just 1.75% ABV.

Brewed in Tropical Far North Marrickville (as they cheekily call it), Half Pacific is bursting with juicy notes of passionfruit, peach and orange from Galaxy hops, rounded out with low bitterness and only 72 calories per 375ml tin. It’s crafted for drinkers “half up for a drink,” delivering full flavour without the heavy hit.  Perfect for long summer sessions.

Available in 6- and 24-packs (RRP $19 and $57), the beer will be sold through Dan Murphy’s, BWS and select independents in NSW. With this new release, Hawke’s is cementing its position as a key player in the sessionable NoLo space, bridging the gap between zero-alc and mid-strength brews.

Expect Half Pacific Ale to be the go-to summer sip for flavour seekers looking for something lighter.
