NRL is back and venues can look forward to the boost in trade the new season will bring.
On Thursday 2 March the 2023 Telstra NRL Premiership Season begins with a longer 27-round season that is already shaping up to be a thrilling one. Last year’s premiership winners, Penrith Panthers, will be looking for the three-peat, and start their campaign against the Brisbane Broncos in the Friday night double header. Up first though are the Parramatta Eels and Melbourne Storm, with an exciting season opener on the Thursday night between two teams who are strong contenders to dethrone the Panthers.
All eyes will be on new team the Dolphins, who will be looking to make a splash in their inaugural season. In their first premiership game, they meet the Sydney Roosters on Sunday 5 March, with the Roosters boasting a strong squad and looking to put a disappointing few years behind them to challenge for the premiership trophy.
