Ahead of the awards ceremony held on Wednesday 13 November 2024, Retail Drinks has announced the finalists for the 2024 Retail Drinks Industry Awards.
Designed to highlight the year-round efforts made by the people and companies in Australia’s retail liquor industry, the annual awards program celebrates exceptional individuals and provides a benchmark for businesses in the industry.
Showcasing liquor retailing talent on a state and national scale, the awards are split into retailer and supplier categories, including Liquor Store of the Year, Online Liquor Retailer of the Year, Young Liquor Retailer of the Year, Beer Supplier of the Year and Sales Representative of the Year among many more.
In congratulating each of the national finalists, CEO Michael Waters said: “Retail Drinks is honoured to run this important annual program, which recognises the success and hard work of people and companies in our industry. We sincerely thank all retailer members who took the time to nominate, congratulate all finalists, and look forward to celebrating with you all at the Awards Presentation Dinner.”
Retail Drinks celebrated a huge uplift in nominations last year, growing by a further 20 per cent this year to a total of 532 nominations across all categories, with individual category nominations also rising by 10 per cent.
The winners will be announced at the Retail Drinks Industry Awards, which will take place at Doltone House Darling Island in conjunction with the FY24 AGM and Retail Drinks Industry Summit. The awards ceremony will be hosted by award-winning Australian actor Rob Carlton, with entertainment from Sydney’s Uptown Funk band.
