Independent Brands Australia (IBA) has celebrated its best retailers and suppliers at its 2025 Five Star Awards, held during the IBA Trade Workshop in the Gold Coast this week.
The Trade Workshop brought together more than 550 delegates from across the country. Attendees included retailers, suppliers and IBA staff to celebrate successful independents and IBA’s 21st birthday.
Wednesday saw winners recognised across each state and territory, before the national winners were named at last night’s gala dinner.
The national winners are:
- Supplier of the Year (Large) – Lion
- Supplier of the Year (Small) – Sazerac
- National IBA Business Development Manager of the Year – Ben Lysaght
- National Rising Star of the Year – Holly Roberts, Cellarbrations, Shoreline, Tasmania
- National Store Manager of the Year – Todd Kelly, Cellarbrations Superstore, Aussie World, Queensland
- National Retailer of the Year – Cellarbrations, Somerset, Tasmania

IBA announced the 2026 Trade Workshop will once again take place on the Gold Coast from 1 to 4 September.
